WOW

It has been a long time since I blogged I will post pictures when we get home from Broken Arrow. We have been busy with softball since this is Kayla's last summer of softball. We went to Branson a few weeks ago, we did the Silver Dollar City thing and Kayla and a friend went to see Kathy Rigby in Peter Pan (She loved it). I never thought Kayla would like theater but she did, she said if she had the chance she would go again. I have been working and taking care of the LAST litter of puppies, Daisy had to have a C-section and we just had her spayed while they were at it. We have 6 cute pug puppies I need to take pictures and post.

SHE DID IT!!

or should I say we did it? I am very proud of Kayla she was a valedictorian, and that takes alot of work. She has played softball for the school and her tournament team, she played basketball in 9th and 10th grades and done track all 4 years. She has been a pretty easy child to raise but look at who she followed. (Sorry Kim and Laura but the truth hurts)

Got to love the weekend

Yesterday as soon as I got off work I met up with some of my best friends and went to dinner and scrapbooked until midnight. I really needed that break. Today I met up with Kim and Sharon and went shopping for scrapy supplies and went and had lunch. While I was out my daughter CLEANED HER ROOM I know I can't believe it either. LOL

Off to Tulsa

I guess we are headed to Tulsa, or at least until it rains.

I have been a bad blogger so here is another I should have posted the other day. This is a layout I did Saturday night, I LOVE this new Basic Grey Lime Rickey, it is such fun paper.

This is Kayla's announcement and one of her home made Sr. pics. We are going to get pictures done when school is out, its just too crazy at this time. Graduation is May 21st, we are putting the announcements in the mail tomorrow, (third one I should be doing this better, LOL).

Enrollment

We took Kayla to OPSU Friday morning to enroll, We got a tour of the buildings and I got to see the apartments where she will be living. I was really impressed by the improvements that this little 100 year old school has. The apartments are only a few years old and have been well maintained, there is a great gym with everything you could ask for (and its all new), they have done a great deal of work to the softball field, the classrooms are small we were told there are only about 15-20 students in each class. With Kayla's softball scholarship and the Presidential scholarship she was given I am hoping all we have to pay for is the difference in a dorm room and apartment. The only bad thing I can find is that the school is 5 hours away but its not to far to come home on the weekends or if we wanted we can drive up for a night on the weekend. Now we just have to start buying all the junk she will need for college, a mini frig, bedding, ect.. For those of you that want to go to Graduation its on May 21st I need to get addresses together this weekend for her.

Prom 4/18/09

This picture is of Kayla and her best friend Destyni before prom saturday night. I will post more pics later, you really can see her dress in this picture. I can't believe my baby just went to her last prom. Daryl sure is getting old. Talked to Kim and she had a blast on her cruise hopefully I will have some pictures of that tomorrow.

All is well (finally), Kim is in the Bahamas for her Birthday, Kayla is at her Senior Prom, and Laura is in Durant OK, at a rodeo. Daryl and I just got home from dinner, and I am enjoying the peace and quite.

Trying to upload some layouts I did last night but having a few issues.

Well Kim is off for her cruise, I dropped her off at the airport about 5pm tonight. Our next project this week is prom. I keep forgetting to order Kaylas flowers, somebody text me tomorrow and remind me PLEASE!!! I have a layout about half done I just can't get it to look right maybe tonight?

Hospital

Last night was a long one, with all the fire around and then about 7:30 my Dad call and had fallen and busted his head open. We sat at MWC ER until 1:00 am. He is home after 7 staples.

We are missing several shingles off the roof so Daryl gets to make some repairs before we go to Tulsa tonight.
